Hi, I’m Sam. I’m a father, husband and software engineer.

Career

At work, I am a Senior Software Engineer at Otera. Previously, I worked at two other tech scale-ups:

• Eigen Technologies
• Big Health

Following university, I began a career in supply chain and logistics at a container liner in Hamburg, then for a manufacturer back in the UK. I worked for several years in the Big Four Management Consultancy firms KPMG and EY on a range of business and technology projects in roles including project manager and business analyst. I subsequently transitioned to a software engineering career at Big Health.

Personal Life

I live in London with my family. I love the great outdoors, from hiking to skiing. I like to boulder and go to the gym. I follow football and support Ipswich Town FC. When relaxing at home, I like to read and listen to music and podcasts.
